Sustainable Materials, Thoughtfully Chosen

At Pilu Studio, every piece starts with purpose, including the materials. We work exclusively with designers who use PLA, a plant-based, biodegradable, safe, and sustainable material.

The PLA (Polylactic Acid) is derived from renewable resources like corn starch. It allows for precise, detailed 3D prints with a smaller environmental footprint. PLA perfectly matches our vision: artistic, functional objects made with care for your home and the planet.

Each item is 3D printed using minimal waste, sharing our values of creativity and eco-consciousness.

Why PLA is considered more eco-friendly:

Renewable Resources:
PLA is made from renewable plant-based materials like cornstarch, sugarcane, and cassava, which reduces reliance on fossil fuels.

Lower Carbon Footprint:
PLA production consumes less energy and emits fewer greenhouse gases than the production of petroleum-based plastics.

Biodegradable:
PLA is biodegradable, which means it can decompose under specific conditions, like industrial composting.

Sustainable Printing:

Using PLA in 3D printing allows for more responsible manufacturing practices and aligns with the growing demand for eco-friendly products.

Because meaningful decor starts with meaningful choices.
